Including, it seems, our sourdough bread, which is starring in Channel 7’s brand new food program, Restaurant Revolution. Served up alongside fabulous gourmet concoctions from chef Dom Aboud, our bread will be seen on the small screen from Tues 28th July, when 5 teams from around Australia compete to convert a shipping container into a popular pop-up restaurant. We wish Dom all the best in the competition and hope the young Western Sydney-based chef can pull it off for NSW!
Also making headlines this week is our to-die-for soup series. We’ve bragged on this blog before about the delicious soups created by Suzanne, one of our cooks here at the Bakehouse, so it was only a matter of time before the rest of the world caught on, and caught on they have with a double page feature article in the Daily Telegraph’s TASTE supplement on Tuesday 21st July.
Just goes to show, you don’t have to have perfect looks to make it in showbiz, just plenty of heart and soul…
