You heard it here first – Sydney’s best hot cross buns are back and they’re bigger, fruitier and tastier than ever! We’ve been tinkering with our time-honoured recipe to make these the fluffiest, stickiest and hands-down most delicious Hot Cross Buns ever and we have to say, they’re better than ever! With their lightly spiced dough and sweet glazed top, they’re perfect as they are but even more glorious lightly toasted and generously buttered, served alongside a steaming hot mug of tea or coffee.
PLUS, in addition to old favourite Traditional and Fruitless (which we launched in 2017), this year we’re bringing you a brand-new flavour – Cherry Ripe! The winning suggestion of one of our clever Instagram followers who took out a competition to create a new flavour, our Cherry Ripe Hot Cross Buns will be in Shepherd’s stores from Friday March 6th.
