Since we began serving coffee at our Eastgardens cafe over 12 months ago, we’ve been on a mission….
A mission to find the most delicious, intense coffee blend available – strong enough to meet the high standards of our Head Barista and to satisfy the short black brigade, but smooth enough to please the average coffee drinker just looking for a little ‘kick’ to get through the morning…
At last, we think we’ve succeeded.
We’re excited to introduce you to our new coffee partner, Mutch & Moore, and their fabulous ‘Blend No. 3″- our new house blend.
Mutch & Moore Coffee was developed – and is still roasted – in Marrickville, Sydney, by industry legend George Sabados (left).
An early pioneer of coffee roasting in Sydney and a renowned coffee judge, George specialises in creating full-flavoured customised blends for cafes across Australia. He describes No. 3 as Mutch & Moore’s “strongest coffee, perfect for milk based coffee such as cappuccinos and french press (plunger)”.
We have to agree. Our new coffee is designed to cut through milk with its velvety, rich flavour, and leave you with a real afterglow that lasts long after you’ve drained your cup.
It’s also locally roasted in Sydney, which reduces our food miles in contrast to our previous roaster, which was located almost 1000km away.
Try our new coffee blend at our Westfield Eastgardens, Castle Towers or Narellan Town Centre cafes this month, and tell us what you think on social media today!
