Brioche Bomb: Ginger Spiced Apple w Vanilla Custard
Our most indulgent, delicious and photogenic dessert to date, Shepherd’s Ginger Spiced Apple Brioche Bombs are guaranteed to be a big hit with sweet-tooths, custard enthusiasts, Instagrammers and just about anyone who is lucky enough to get their hands on one.
We take a soft, fluffy and light ball of brioche dough, bake it in the oven (yes they’re baked, not fried!) then fill it with housemade stewed apple, lightly flavoured with ginger.
Our own creamy vanilla custard is piped on top before our Ginger Spiced Apple Brioche Bombs are generously rolled in cinnamon sugar and decorated with freeze-dried raspberries and crushed pistachios.
The combination of ginger-scented apple filling, light fluffy doughnutty shell and rich, decadent custard makes this one of our most delicious desserts ever.
Brioche Base: White flour, yeast, sugar, butter, egg, water, milk, almond meal, corn flour.
Filling: Apple, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, maple syrup, golden syrup, cornflour
Topping: Granulated sugar, freeze dried raspberry, pistachio
