New Muesli Pots Are Pretty ‘Lush’

We don’t just use the tagline Farm. Oven. Plate because it sounds kind of trendy.  We are huge believers in supporting NSW farmers, from our Dubbo-based flour supplier Ben Furney to our local spinach supplier, Werombi Farms.

Every week, we hold stalls at over 10 farmers markets in and around Sydney – from Newcastle in the north, to Kiama in the south – and this gives us a brilliant opportunity to meet and get to know farmers and producers from all around the state.

One of our favourites is Country Valley Dairy, a small dairy farm in Picton, in the Southern Highlands, which are famous for their real, old-fashioned milk and especially their incredible, award-winning ‘Lush’ yoghurt.

So we decided to team up with Country Valley to bring a scrumptious new summer treat to Sydneysiders this festive season – and we’ve dubbed them Muesli Pots.

Creamy slightly sweetened ‘Lush’ yoghurt is layered with Shepherd’s nutty ‘Double Toasted Muesli’ and house-made fruit compote in two flavours (Wildberry Bash and Apple Chia Avalanche), all crammed into a cute little reusable jar.

The golden crunchy muesli is made in the style of American granola (i.e. delicious!) but contains no cane sugar and is instead sweetened with more GI-friendly agave and maple syrup.  The Muesli Pots are designed to make a perfect breakfast-on-the-go or a nutritious snack, and are available at Shepherd’s bakery cafes throughout summer.
