Festive Season Farmers Market Dates

For the most delicious dishes to serve at your Christmas feast, you really need the freshest ingredients available – and where better to shop for the best quality food than your local Farmers Market?

Many markets continue to trade throughout the festive season, whilst some close to give vendors a much deserved break with their families.  Our list below should help you plan your shopping during the busy last week before Christmas, and give you some great locations where you can stock up on holiday supplies in early January!

Thursday 22nd December:christmas tree flour

Hornsby Markets; 8am – 4pm

Newcastle Twilight Market; 4pm – 9pm (or until sold out!)

Fri 23rd December:

Parramatta City; 7am – 2pm

Wollongong Central; 8am – 3pm

Carriageworks Christmas Night Market; 5pm – 9pm

Saturday 24th December:

Orange Grove Organic Markets; 8am – 1pm

Warwick Farm Trackside Markets at Child’s Park; 8am – 12pm

Castle Hill Showground Markets; 8am – 12pm

Camden Fresh Produce Markets; 8am – 1pm

Sutherland Shire Markets; 8am – 1pm

Saturday 7th January:

Orange Grove Organic Markets; 8am – 1pm

Warwick Farm Trackside Markets at Child’s Park; 8am – 12pm

Market by the River; 9am – 3pm

Sunday 8th January:

French’s Forest Organic Markets; 8am – 12pm

Newcastle City Farmers Market; 7am – 1pm

 

Excluding those listed above, our markets all take a break throughout January and some during February as well.  Those which do so return on the following dates:
